WE ARE TOUCHED BY THE SACRED AND SPIRITUAL TIME OF THE GREAT AWAKENING OF HUMANITY. IT IS UPON US NOW. IT GIVES THE MEANING TO OUR EXISTENCE AND TO OUR PRESENT TRAVAILS. AND WITH THIS AWAKENING, SO SHALL COME OUR SPIRITUAL HEALING OF OURSELVES, OF EACH OTHER, OF OUR COMMUNITIES AND OF OUR MOTHER EARTH, OUR HOLY GAIA.
A vital change – perhaps we can call it a transformation - that is occurring in our societies and cultures these days, is the growing awareness of our need to recognise and be influenced by the rights of others. This is a responsibility that we owe to each other. It is our recognition of the rights of others that forms the key to our recognising and ultimately living the idea – the fact? – that we are all ONE. Recognising the rights of others is the necessary course that we all must take and embrace in our journey together as humanity together.
We might also ask ourselves whether our planet, our environment, and the animals we share our planet with can claim to have rights that we should recognise. There might be a philosophical issue with that – there might be – but it doesn’t matter. Because the symbiotic partner to our recognition of the rights of others, is the recognition on all our parts that we have duties and obligations too. Duties and obligations to each other and also to our planet, our environment, and the animals we share our planet with. Duty and obligation are what brings our recognition of the rights of others into the light, indeed into very life. And it is duty and obligation that enables us to foster the wellbeing of any entity in our world that we might find it difficult to claim that such entities had rights. In effect, of course, everyone and everything has rights in practice, because we owe duty and obligation to everyone and everything. Rights and duty and obligation are the triple keys to the ultimate wellbeing of everything, to our having a chance of being ONE with the ALL.
